Description
Karrikins from the Fine Wall Art Collection is printed on Canson Edition Etching Rag.
The artwork is professionally photographed providing the highest resolution and Fine Art Reproduction.
Karrikins are a group of plant growth regulators that are found in the smoke of burning plant material. Bushfires are known to stimulate the germination of seeds. This piece was created after the wildfires that swept through Australia and so to find some hope in the devastation the piece was named Karrikins.
Karrikins is a collections of Australian native plants, insects, animals and birds. Drawn over a period of 200 hours and completed in 2020. After completion it was sent to Noosa for photographing. It was a finalist in the Lethbridge Small Art awards Brisbane, 2020, where it went on to win an Art Shed prize.
Karrikins is available on paper up to 70cm x 70cm. If you prefer something bigger you may wish to buy canvas 110cm x 110cm (stretched and framed). For International buyers rolled canvas is also available, please email .
